Personalized Paper Skeleton

Supplies:

Black paper

White paper

scissors

glue

1.-2. Fold the white paper length wise, write name. 

Cut around, make sure you don't cut the middle fold.

Open your name. This will create skeletons ribcage. 

Cut bones and head.

UpCycled Converse

It will take you only one afternoon to turn ol ho'hum sneakers into a dazzling custom made sneakers that no one else will have!

1. You'll need fabric paint (or acrylic paint + fabric medium) and clear glitter fabric paint.

2.-3. Paint little by little, making sure that you'll get all the spots, especially around the edges.

4. Let the base coat try.

5. Once your base color has dried, add clear glitter fabric paint.

6. While it dries, color the old shoelaces.

7. Mix a little bit of water with fabric paint and let the shoelaces soak at least 30 minutes.

8. Once everything is dry, you are ready to hit the road and strut your new sneakers!

Icepop Memory Game

Summer is all about icepops and spending time together. 

This  memory game  is easy to make from scrapbook paper and craft sticks.

Map Flower Card for Mom

What would be sweeter than a handmade card for mom, grandma, aunt, godmother or other special woman in your life?

What you need:

map

card stock

paper glue

scissors

1. Flower petals are made from hearts.

2. You'll need 10 hearts + 1 extra inside of the card

3. Fold hearts in half

4.Assemble folded hearts on the cardstock, make sure all the petals open into same direction.

5.-6. Glue half of the heart into a cardstock leaving the other half loose.

7. Continue to glue petals until you form a full circle.

Add stock and leaves and extra heart inside.

Don't have maps laying around? Don't worry! 

This same technique will work with any two-sided paper.
